Introducing: Hudson Made's Apothecary Rose

Everything’s turning up rosy at the shop these days...

I just love this brand, and not because I have absolutely loved the smell of roses since childhood (thanks in part to my Grandmother’s bottle of Rose Milk) or because the name “Apothecary Rose” reminds me of my brother-from-another-mother, David from Schitt’s Creek...but because I was introduced to this line a few seasons ago at @fieldandsupply in upstate New York and I haven’t stopped thinking about them since. Speaking of upstate New York...I fell in love instantly with the Hudson River Valley scene (and scenery!) and the incredible amount of talent and great energy all around.

And this brand...

In their words:

“At Hudson Made we believe that when we live in balance with nature we thrive and leave a softer footprint on the planet. Our products are crafted with plant and flower-sourced ingredients blended to maximize nature’s restorative power. We believe nature offers the best solutions to every grooming and beauty need.

In the effort to support local economies, we source many of our products and ingredients within 200 miles of the Hudson Valley area. We organically grow some of the botanicals used in our oil infusions, creating jobs and inspiring creativity.

Our products are free from synthetic compounds or toxic chemicals. Instead, we use flowers, vegetable oils, minerals and essential oils, each one carefully sourced and blended for their curative and balancing effects. We believe in protecting and supporting our farms and building sustainable partnerships.

Hudson Made respects the environment and our natural resources. Every aspect of our business is environmentally conscious, from our sourcing, our production, our products and our packaging.”

And one of the best parts? For every soap purchased, they donate a bar of soap to someone in need on your behalf. Currently supported charities include regional hospitals across the country, frontline workers, local food banks, and transitional housing.
